Criterion Feedback addresses the qualitative and quantitative levels of the evidence provided in candidate responses at the criterion level.
ProTeach Portfolio uses a 4-point score scale that expands to 7 possible score points when the 2 scores of a double-scored entry are averaged. Therefore, feedback statements are provided at each of 7 possible score points (i.e., 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0) for each criterion. The feedback statements are directly connected to the guiding prompts within the textboxes of the entries.
First, identify those criteria on which you scored highest. Also examine your scores to identify those criteria on which you scored lowest. Then read the feedback statements for all criteria in that entry to gain insight into what you have accomplished or what in your teaching practice may need improvement to create a stronger entry response.
Candidates are also encouraged to make use of other online resources designed to help them reflect on their ProTeach Portfolio entry responses to determine areas of focus for resubmission.
